How to: Add an appointment type in Squarespace scheduling

Squarespace scheduling is powerful functionality the lets you build an appointment booking system for your website. You might need a booking system for your holiday let business or a booking system for a series of classes or training courses that your run. All of that is possible.

Here is my little handy guide on how to do some of that. I created it as a reminder and quick reference for myself but if you come across it and find it useful then brilliant!

The key to all of that is what Squarespace refers to as appointment types. An appointment can be of any length you choose such as an hour or a day or several days. You can set up an appointment for a service or for a class. You can also have calendars for more than one person or more than one location. In this video I demo how to set up or edit an appointment type. In the examples the appointments are for a day long and a two day long training course.
