Following on from the table top style product shoot for My Green Routine’s planet friendly travel kit was this studio shoot.

Now this is an interesting assignment! Of course you’ve got try a little sample being a Scottish chap and all. The photoshoot was for a feature in the society’s magazine ‘Unfiltered”.

This is such a cool product. All the items are planet friendly and not a piece of plastic in sight! The soap…wow…it smells amazing. This was the first of two photoshoots for the team at My Green Routine and what a lovely bunch of people they are too.

Back in the photo studio for a photo shoot for Tweedy Clothing. This was the third time in the studio shooting for the sustainable clothing line.

As before it was a great day with a great vibe. There was a a lot of clothing products to get through so the pace was non stop.

One of the things I like about the Tweedy philosophy is the desire to use real people as models rather than professional models. It’s a little bit more work for the photographer as the person is not used to posing in the effortless way a model would. Everyone needs to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. That for sure was the case on this shoot. Great fun to do.

Another photo shoot for Tweedy Clothing but this time Tweedy were looking for more ‘lifestyle‘ type shots for social media and their website.

Product photography is always good fun and challenging to do, so it was a pleasure to create product images recently for REDNRG.

The REDNRG products are infra red therapy lamps. Infra red therapy isn’t something I have came across before so it was interesting to see LED technology for this type of product as opposed to studio lighting!

The brief from the client was to deliver images suitable for Amazon. A look at the Amazon product image requirements revealed that the main product image is required to be on a pure white background so that the image blends with the Amazon web page. There were size requirements too.

Not so long ago I upgraded the website for Tweedy Clothing and then went on to do some product photography for the Tweedy jewellery range. Those projects were a great success and so it was a pleasure to take on the photography for the clothing range.

What is it about the VW camper van? It’s a classic sure enough. The old style van that conjures up images of California surfer dudes and endless blue skies and ocean. It is a part of popular culture that has endured for 60 years. The modern vans are cool too though and especially when they have been customised with body kits, lowered suspension and cool alloy wheels.
