Recording Vocals For Nostalgia Deathstar
Nostalgia Deathstar is a brand new musical project from Martin James and Sean Albiez. So far, the duo have released two tracks; Europa Dystopia and So It Went. Both tracks are available now on Spotify. A third track is planned for release in March. The band plan to release a new track every month for a year!
I recorded Martin’s vocals for all three tracks in my home studio. One of the big advantages of recording in my little cosmic studio is that if you send me a guide track before the session I can have everything set up and ready. That way when you arrive, we can get straight to recording.
For each song Martin recorded a series of vocal tracks. At the end of the sessions I exported out the tracks as stems ready for the band to add to their final mix.
