Most of the work I do is creating online media content. That can be video, audio, graphics and images. I Signed up to Adobe Firefly beta a few months ago as I was really interested in what it could do to generate images. AI image generation has come a long way since then. The results are astounding. Turning your creations in to video clips is a lot of fun too.

So what about shorts you say.

In my work I quite often create talking head style video content to be used in a teaching and learning context. Or it could be someone explaining their product or talking about an experience. These videos are usually 3 to 5 minutes long. These types of video are perfect for your learning platform or website. However, they don’t work so well on platforms like Instagram and TikTok and perhaps you are looking to leverage those to amplify the reach of your business.

This is where AI comes in. Feed the AI app your 5 minute longer form video and it analyses it, chooses the most salient point or paragraph and makes a short clip complete with colourful captions. It even focuses in on the person speaking. The AI then does the same thing several more times with different segments and even ranks them in order of likely viewer preference. All done in seconds and all downloadable and social media ready.

What a great way to drive traffic from your social media platforms back to your website and YouTube channel.
